When trying to get an Autograph of one of the Pro's take into consideration, the emotional and psychological factor. While they are obliged to keep a positive and professional image at events, don't forget that they are human too. Try not to rush up to them before their heat in the water, they have mentally hyped themselves up and are focusing on the task ahead. Getting a bit of paper, book, magazine or some ones underpants thrust into your face to get autographed before a heat, can be somewhat of a distraction, especially if the underpants aren't clean.
