Well put it this way, the surf lifesavers will be busy rescuing crew with a warm day forecast. Looks like Santas gonna deliver the goods swell wise this Christmas with a decent swell running, especially in the South West and offshore winds early. Christmas Forecast 25/12/16. PERTH/MANDURAH Strong punchy ground swell nudging the 15-16 second period mark with Moderate SE winds. Wave heights along the beach breaks between the waist to shoulder high mark with head high sets. Some of the reef breaks will be providing some relief with a few waves on offer to help thin the crowds. Not a morning for the inexperienced surfers. MARGARET RIVER Strong ground swell also around the 15-16 second period. Moderate to fresh SE winds at Mainbreak with some solid six to eight footers with the odd ten foot set.
