03/06/16 8:35am ![]() GO FUND ME PAGE SET UP FOR SHARK ATTACK VICTIM Shark attack victim, Ben Gerring still remains in a critical condition at RPH and is still fighting one of the biggest battles of his life. Bens fight will not finish there as he will need to adapt to a new life and one that will include an added addition to the Gerring family. Ben recently found out that the girl of his life that he is engaged to, Jasmine Boyer is pregnant. It is well known that Ben (and other surfers, including myself) are not too fond of sharks and was a bit rattled hitting the surf on Tuesday and more than likely, like others would not have gone for a paddle if he was made aware of a shark sighting earlier in the day South at Pyramids beach. It's not comfortable in the water anymore with crew always having the fear of a shark in the back of their minds, when they never used to. I know plenty of crew that have freaked out by a chunk of seaweed on the ocean bottom wiggling around with the swell. Bens biggest fight still continues, his family, friends and fellow surfing fraternity all know that if he wins this battle, he is going to need a lot of help. A go fundme page has been set up for Ben to help him with his path ahead. The gofund me page has been setup to help Ben and Jasmine in anyway possible. All money raised will go towards Ben and Jasmine to assist them with this life changing event. He will have a long road to recovery so every donation no matter how big or small will help them through these tough times. The family would like to thank everyone for there ongoing support, your messages are keeping the family spirits high. ![]() |
