PRODUCTION MANAGER - APPAREL West Surfing Products, a Western Australian Surf Wear Company is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic person to manage the production. This includes sampling, costing, specification approval, co-coordinating designers, ordering production and ensuring samples and production arrive on time. To be a successful applicant you must be able to: " Work well under pressure and to strict deadlines. Time Management skills a must. " Excellent leadership skills with the management of other employees in design etc. " Communicate and liaise with overseas manufacturers on all levels and have great negotiation skills. " Ensure samples and production are received, inspected and approved for quality control. " Knowledge of fabric/textile products. " Excellent computer skills. This position is very challenging but at the same time filled with variety as no one day will ever be the same. West is a very close knit team and your flexibility and adaptability will be the key to both your success and that of the business. Must have a minimum of two years experience in a similar position. You may be required to travel overseas.
