07/10/05. West Launches new look website. www.westsurfing.com In 1982 Patrick Leahy and Roger Liley created a unique grass roots surfing company. Inspired by the soul of the raw environment and the sense of escapism associated with surfing, the two set about designing core surfing products, that are function driven with a feel good fashion edge. Twenty three years on from their humble beginnings West Surfing Products International today officially launched its new look website. The new site is aimed more towards the companys beliefs, the true essence of surfing, escapism and a more core look to embody what surfing really means to the general and hard core exponents that encompass the whole surfing lifestyle. "We see the site as a way not only to show the general surfing fraternity of who and what we are, but to also show case some of our products online. The site will be updated regularly with regular news articles as well as showing the world our new season and upcoming quality products" explained International Marketing manager Paul Manners. The home page features scripting that sees new image changes every time a visitor logs onto the site or when the page is refreshed with the essence on surf images depicting the lifestyle and the journey with finding that perfect surf. Along with the fast download time the site will be further enhanced and built upon over the next few months utilising the full potential of php.
