SURFER DIES AT GNARALOO STATION

A surfer has tragically lost his life while surfing huge waves at Tombstones, Gnaraloo Station in the States North West.

The 55 year old man was pulled from the water unconscious yesterday morning, with others in the lineup unawre to what was happening on the beach.

The isolated camping area which has little to no mobile phone coverage and the track in is a nightmare for emergency services, which were called to the area at around 9am yesterday.

By all accounts yesterdays surf was large and pumping at the station with even the infamous "Train tracks" pumping out some very large ones.

From all here at SRO, RIP condolences to family and friends on your tragic loss.
