Large seas and surf will provide unsafe surf conditions and any form of ocean/coastal based activity into the for the weekend. PERTH/MANDURAH Saturday Perth & Mandurah Wind direction: W 15 to 25 knots in the morning swinging W/NW 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon Swell direction: W/SW Period: 13 to 14 seconds Swell: Morning up to 3 metres, increasing to around 5 metres in the afternoon (depending on how quick the front moves in) on the open ocean with a combined sea and swell of up to 5.5 metres. Head high to double head high on the open ocean breaks. Unsafe surfing conditions and any form of ocean/coastal based activity into the afternoon . Sunday Wind direction: W/NW 30 to 40 knots stronger in squalls, swinging W/SW to SW 25 to 35 knots in the afternoon Swell direction: W/SW Period: 16 to 17 seconds Waves: 5 to 6 metres on the open ocean. Head high to double head high on the open ocean breaks. Unsafe surfing conditions and any form of ocean/coastal based activity . MARGARET RIVER Saturday Wind direction: W 25 to 30 knots swinging W/NW 30 to 40 knots in the afternoon. Swell direction: W/SW Period: 14 seconds Waves: 5 to 6 metres on the open ocean breaks, combines sea and swell up to 7.5 metres by the afterrnoon. Unsafe surfing conditions and any form of ocean/coastal based activity. Sunday Wind direction: W/SW 35 to 45 knots stronger gusts, swinging SW 25 to 35 knots in the afternoon. Swell direction: W/SW Period: 17 seconds Waves: 7 to 8 metres on the open ocean breaks, combines sea and swell up to 9.5 metres. Unsafe surfing condition and any form of ocean/coastal based activity.
