13/03/17 5:00pm ![]() SOME WIND AND SWELL TO FINALLY STIR UP THE BANKS, PLUS AN OFFSHORE FOR THURSDAY TO TEST THEM Finally we are going to have some wind and swell that will churn up the straightness of the Perth and Mandurah beach breaks. W/NW winds at 25 knots plus with a swell of up to three metres and full moon high tides for Tuesday should help shape things up on the beach breaks, while going into Wednesday we should see the swell possibly nudge the four metre mark with fresh Southerly winds. Thursday is going to be the day of reckoning with Light clean offshore winds forecast with a swell getting up to the 2.5 metre mark. Not really that common for us to get a cold front like this in March, but hey, anything is possible with this new age of Global warming (or should it be Global warning) and then throw in El Nino, El Ninia and their cousins El Gino and El Maria and the poor buggers at the Bureau of Meteorology have got their work cut out for them. One thing is at least we are going to have some banks for a change, well Hopefully! |
