It was a great night and the first step in what will be a long standing tradition in Western Australian surfing.
In recognition of Brad Cecins efforts in making these awards happen, Jake Patterson and Melanie Redman turned the tables on Cecins when he was the recipient of a plaque from both in appreciation for Cecins contribution in making the night Happen.
